TERMS OF PAYMENT – BOOKING CONDITIONS.
CANCELLATION
All cancellations must be made by letter or e-mail. In conformiting with business practices within the Icelandic travel industry, the Travel Agent is obliged to charge cancellation fees to passenger(s) as follows:
CANCELLATION CHARGES
The confirmation fee differs regarding the type of tour you are choosing:
SuperTravel reserves the right to keep the below confirmation fee to cover costs, if clients do formally cancel their participation within 6 weeks of departure:
Part day tours 5,000- ISK
Full day tours 15,000 ISK
Overnight tours summer 35,000 ISK
Overnight tours winter 45,000 ISK
50 % of tour price, if cancelled formally 8 – 20 days prior to departure, 75 % of tour price, if cancelled formally 2 – 7 days prior to departure, and 100 % of tour price, if cancelled formally within 2 days prior to departure.
LIABILITY
SuperTravel disclaims responsibility for any loss, damage, accidents, sickness or changes in schedules caused by weather, strikes or any other irregularity outside SuperTravel control.
SuperTravel reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries or departure times, without prior notice, should the necessity arise. In case of any changes in flights (domestic and international), the passenger has to pay any additional cost caused by this, at the time the service is provided (extra hotel nights, meals, transfers etc). We advise all clients to have insurance.
All complaints must reach SuperTravel within 4 days from end of the tour with the firm. Otherwise possible compensation is not valid.
