1^st day

  Gullfoss  Geysir and Snæfellsnes peninsula 

This tour takes us over the pass of Hellisheiði passing the Green house village Hveragerði continue to Gullfoss Waterfall and Geysir geothermal spring. We will drive to highland track Kaldidalur to Iceland’s second largest ice field, Langjökull glacier from there we will go to  Hraunfossar Lava waterfall and Deildatunguhver, the biggest hot spring in Europe. We´ll have an overnight stay at Snæfellsnes peninsula in a farm hotel. Rooms with private facility, dinner not included.

 2^nd day

We will drive around Snæfellsnes peninsula, which is dominated by the glacier where, according to Jules Verne’s book, the entrance to the centre of the Earth can be found.

We´ll visit Arnarstapi, with its rich birdlife during summers and Hellnar a small harbor, along with a little restaurant that is open during summer. The surrounding is magnificent, full of basaltic columns and interesting lava field along with some other interesting spots in your journey from the peninsula to Reykjavík.

Things to take along in a trip like this would be:

Good hiking shoes, camera, swimming suite, towels, and warm clothes. Please remember that Icelandic weather can change without a notice.
