We start the day with 1 hour city ,we will see Höfði house, Hallgrímskirkja, Perlan, Alþingi Iceland Parliament house, City center, Reykjavík harbor and other significant places.
Next we will drive to Þingvellir National Park, which is one of Iceland’s most significant historical sites because it was there that Iceland’s first parliament was founded in the year 930 AD. From Þingvellir we head along mountain tracks toward the waterfall Gullfoss is something you will never forget and to some people it is the one of the most magnificent waterfalls in Iceland. We also visit the Geysir geothermal area in Haukadalur where you see geysers erupt. Strokkur is one of the largest and most powerful geysers and it erupts almost every 4-5 minutes and throws the hot water 10-15 meters up to the air.
We will end the day by driving to the coastline of Iceland seeing small fishing village called Eyrabakki. The oldest building in the village, Húsið ("The House"), is a Norwegian kit home dating from 1765 and is the oldest preserved timber dwelling house in Iceland on our way to the famous Blue lagoon ending the tour in relaxing bath be for heading back to Reykjavík.
Things to take along on a trip like this would be:
Good hiking shoes, camera, warm outdoor clothing, bating suit, towels, waterproof jacket and pants. Please remember that Icelandic weather can change suddently without prior warning.
