Landamannalaugar and Mount Hekla in 4×4 super jeeps/trucks

43.500,-

A unique live for the moment excursion by 4×4 super jeeps/trucks to the striking place of Landmannalaugar. We will pass through Þjórsárdalur valley and cross different lava fields, small rivers and pass by volcanic craters. We will stop at one of the craters, Ljótipollur (Ugly Pool).

At Landmannalaugar you can bathe outside in a naturally warm creek. Landmannalaugar is a magnificent area surrounded by colorful rhyolite mountains. This place is ideal for hiking. Next the tour takes us through the rough mountain tracks at the foot of Mount Hekla, one of the most famous volcanoes in Iceland. Here you will see a landscape shaped by centuries of volcanic activity as Hekla has erupted on average every 7-10 years in the 20th century, the last eruption taking place in the year 2000.Landmannalaugar
